creations in timber
Introduction
Creating a functional object or a decorative item from a raw material is one of the oldest and most basic human endeavours. To do this with timber is an exercise in stewardship – nursing a natural material of warmth and character, borne of the Earth, to become something more than the sum of its parts. Whether a miniature figurine or a double-story house, forming and shaping timber with your hands is one of life’s purest joys.
I've been fortunate to have worked as a carpenter and woodworker in Brisbane, Germany, Antartica, Macquarie Island and now the Huon Valley, Tasmania. I look forward to putting my love of working with timber into your project. Feel free to touch base via the details on the Contact page!
